American Biofuels Now needs your help, and it won’t cost you a dime. We have initiated a petition in support of American biofuels and the economic benefits that biofuels can provide in the form of jobs, tax revenues and reduction of our trade imbalance. The petition is also in support of American energy independence, billions of dollars a day flow out of America in to the coffers of governments that do not represent American values and policies. The environmental benefits of biofuels are well documented in the form of reduced greenhouse gases and particulate emissions, and lowered risk of spills.
We are using biofuel as an additive to gasoline and diesel. We are making and using biofuels now, and we could make a lot more. Ethanol production is using new, more efficient feedstocks and the potential for exponentially increased production of biofuels from algae is a reality. Requiring no farmland, algae is up to 60% oil, and tremendous yields from smaller facilities are now possible. Ethanol from biomass production plants are opening all over the country, scientific advancements are coming in leaps and bounds.
America now has 5 million Flex-fuel vehicles on the road, with more being sold every day. American trucks and trains run on a biodiesel blend, lessening the amount of petro fuel they require in delivering our goods.
