Hyperion Power Generations Inc. manufacture refrigerator-sized nuclear reactors and are currently seeking approval from U.S. authorities to help supply the world’s growing electricity demands.
If approved the mini nuclear plants have the ability to power a small factory or town that may be too remote for traditional utility grid connections.
Is this safe to be going back to the nuclear well, and furthermore is it safe to be spreading the nuclear material around with multiple small reactors. Or is it safest to have less larger central reactors?
