Hello All i would like to start a discussion on green networking. I want to hear ideas on how people define a socially responsible business. To me, a socially/environmentally responsible business is one that takes into consideration the consequences of their actions. What resources are they wasting in conducting business and can they find alternative methods to still accomplish their day-to-day business procedures? What overall impact does conducting business have (in terms of energy usage, for example), and what can be done to compensate or offset it?

I think 3 easy steps that a business can take on their way to becoming responsible is to reduce paper consumption (don't print every email, switch to digital file storage in lieu of hard-copy), recycle technology and other consumables like printer ink & toner, and purchase renewable energy credits.
