Give cell phones, ipod back to their manufacturers, electronic stores, donate them to charity, or sell them as parts

I just recently learned that you can recycle your ipods back to apple, as well as old electronics that you have. When you recycle your eletronics, you are ultimately decreasing the sizes of landfills which conserves natural resources in the end.

How many ipods and small electronics do you think are in land fills? Compared to things like refrigerators, you would need about 1000 ipod sized objects to equal one refrigerator. I'm not saying that recycling these things wont make a difference, but i don't see it making that huge of a difference on the size of the landfills.
