carbon burden from cycling

I just say a news article on people from india that bicycle to work to cause no environmental impact. This might be true if you bicycled to work, holding your breath the whole way there!!! Can we get real?!?!

OK, c'mon now. I don't think we can start qualifying "breathing" as having a harmful effect on the atmosphere. It's safe to assume "no impact on the environment" implies "no impact above and beyond normal living and breathing." So I would definitely agree with the article that cycling is a zero-impact activity.
