Hello everyone and welcome to the new GreenSmart Forum!

There was a time not too long ago when caring about the environment and your impact on the planet was brushed off as nothing more than treehugger nonsense. Nothing you did, or didn't do, was going to make a lick of difference to the planet, some thought. You can do what you want. Luckily there were those who resisted this urge and made an effort to push an agenda of environmental responsibility out onto the world. Some might argue that their plight fell onto deaf ears for a long, long time. But a couple of years ago, something interesting happened. Something began to "click" with people. Being conscious of the world around you and living responsibly might actually be a good thing. It might be easy to do; it might help me out personally; and at the same time, maybe it will contribute even the slightest amount to helping out with the "bigger picture". It was as if someone had been flooring the gas pedal, with the tires spinning and spinning, but not going anywhere.....until they all of a sudden they found traction with the pavement below. The "Green Movement" has found its traction and is accelerating at a breakneck pace. This a very exciting time we live in, as all of us are experiencing this paradigm-shift in the way the world works and views itself.

GreenSmart Forum has been launched as a community where we can discuss these changes occurring in the world around us. It's a place to share and to learn new ways of how live our lives in a more environmentally responsible manner.

Get ready and hold on...the world is changing right before our eyes.

Sad thing is that people are only changing their life style, or trying to, due to the the negative effects that are being felt across the globe. I just hope that changes can be made to our society before its too late.

I love the idea of this forum, but why has it been abandoned?
